About Monkleton Labs
Cyber Safe with Monkleton is developed by Monkleton Labs Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. Monkleton Labs operates with no profit intent. It exists as a research and learning endeavour for a single individual. Any funds generated through the app are used exclusively to cover required professional subscriptions and the operating costs of utilities produced by Monkleton Labs. No profit is distributed to any individual or entity.

What the app is
Cyber Safe with Monkleton is an educational tool designed to raise awareness of common online threats and to encourage practical protective habits. The scenarios, challenges, and remediation guidance in the app are intended to be informative and accessible — they are not professional cybersecurity advice.
The app does not assess your actual security posture, audit your systems, or guarantee protection against any specific threat. For professional security assessment or incident response, consult a qualified cybersecurity professional.
No warranty
The app and all content within it are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Monkleton Labs makes no representations about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the content for any particular purpose. Security guidance reflects best practice at the time of writing and may become outdated as technologies and threats evolve.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Monkleton Labs Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on any content within it, including but not limited to security incidents, data loss, or financial harm.
Your use of the app is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app for its intended purpose — personal education and awareness — and not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract any part of the app
- Use the app or its content for commercial purposes without permission
- Submit false, harmful, or misleading content through any submission feature
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person
In-app purchases
The app offers an optional one-time premium upgrade and voluntary donations, processed through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Monkleton Labs does not handle payment information directly.
The premium upgrade is a one-time, non-recurring purchase. It unlocks additional content and does not expire. Purchases can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID, including devices covered by Family Sharing. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard policies.
User-submitted content
A future version of the app will allow users to submit anonymised personal accounts for potential inclusion. When that feature is introduced, these terms will be updated to cover submission guidelines, moderation, and content rights. Submission will always be voluntary.
Advertising and commercial relationships
The app contains no advertising and is not sponsored by any third party. Monkleton Labs will not introduce advertising or sponsorship arrangements into the app at any point.
Intellectual property
All content in the app — including scenarios, educational text, the Monkleton mascot, and interface design — is the property of Monkleton Labs Pte. Ltd. or is used with appropriate permission. Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to reproduce or distribute app content outside of normal personal use.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time, particularly as new features are introduced. The date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from the use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
