Help, answers, and how to reach us about Cyber Safe with Monkleton.
Cyber Safe with Monkleton turns online safety into a friendly adventure for kids aged 9-11 (grown-ups welcome too). Join Monkleton and friends on short, playful challenges that teach real skills - how to spot a scam text, pick a strong password, keep personal details private, and know who to ask for help. No jargon, no scare tactics - just clear, calm confidence.
Need a hand? Email hello@monkleton.io and we'll help. We read every message.
Getting help
For anything at all - a question, a problem, feedback, or an idea - email hello@monkleton.io, or use the feedback option in the grown-ups area. We only use your email to reply and to improve the app; we never add you to a mailing list.
The grown-ups area
Settings and links to outside websites sit behind a press-and-hold grown-ups gate, so they stay out of little hands. Press and hold the grown-ups button to open it - that's where you'll find settings, helpful links, feedback, and the reset option.
Resetting a profile or clearing data
All progress and "bananas" live on your own device. To clear everything, open the grown-ups area and choose Reset, or delete the app. Because nothing is stored on our side, there's nothing for us to delete for you - you're always in control.
Read aloud
Tap the Read aloud button and your device's built-in voice reads the text, so younger readers can listen instead of read. Nothing you tap or hear leaves the device.
Teach Mode
In Teach Mode, kids practise helping a grown-up character (like Coach or Nan) dodge a real scam - a playful way to turn what they've learned into confidence.
Purchases and the family pass
The app is free to play. There's an optional one-time family pass and a tip jar, both handled by Apple through the App Store - we never see your payment details. The family pass is a one-time purchase and does not expire.
Restoring a purchase: if you reinstall the app or set it up on another device, use the restore option in the grown-ups area. Purchases restore on any device signed in with the same Apple ID, including devices covered by Family Sharing. Refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.
Accounts and privacy
There's no account and no login - kids pick a nickname from a preset list (they can't type their own). The app is Made for Kids: no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we collect no personal data. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Our approach
We don't think screens are the enemy - we think balance and good judgement are skills worth teaching. Mistakes online happen to everyone; what matters is knowing what to do next. And when something goes wrong, the blame belongs to the scammer, never the child.
Free to play. More challenges and the companion video series are coming soon.
