Lesson guidance
A map, not a syllabus - the class travels one lesson at a time, most important first. Adaptable starting points, free to use, at your own pace.
A trial, shared early. This is guidance to help you build lessons, not finished or verified plans. We are developing it openly with teachers - please adapt it, use what works, contribute ideas, and tell us what doesn't, so we can improve it before we mark anything as verified for classroom use. Feedback: cybersafe-feedback@monkleton.io.
Each lesson pairs with a Cyber Safe with Monkleton story (supporting media coming soon), a class activity or discussion, and one agreed action - the class's Safe Check. You do not need all thirteen to start.
If you only have three sessions: do Tier 1 - a trusted adult, strong passwords, and not clicking unknown links. Those three give a class the safety net and the two most common protections. Everything after deepens judgement.
Tier 1 - Start here
The safety net, plus the two most common risks. Short on time? Do these.
Tier 2 - Identity & other people
What a stranger can piece together, and who is really who online.
Tier 3 - Judgement
Permanence, truth, and thinking clearly about AI.
Tier 4 - Habits, money & devices
Balance, spending, and sharing devices safely.
Capstone
Protecting others, and pulling it all together.
